GAMBLING IN ATLANTIC CITY?? !!!??
I stopped playing at casinos I liked just for the atmosphere when I realized the rules were bad i.
So here's my three hands I still can't bring myself to do although basic strategy calls for it.
I appreciate for those blackjack players out there to see what they do in the above situations.
Also, where to you tend to find the best rules out there?
IMO, has great blackjack for mid-range players.
All 6-deck shoes where dealers https://cetsolarstore.com/blackjack/rules-of-blackjack.html on soft 17.
You stand on hard 13 against a 2.
A soft 18 is weak.
Basic Strategy is pure math; no emotions -- just objective facts about what the atlantic city blackjack strategy moves are.
Assuming you are not counting check this out />There are players who stand all the https://cetsolarstore.com/blackjack/blackjack-marina-boat-rental.html with a 16 against a dealer's 10.
Their rationale is "I always bust!
The last one makes sense; you split two nines which was 18 in hopes of atlantic city blackjack strategy two 10's which would give you two hands equaling 19.
As far as hitting a 13 vs.
Maybe you've got the numbers switched?
You're supposed to hit your 12 vs.
That can be hard to do, but you're 'supposed' to and it works out most of the time, I guess just based on how many non-bust cards there are.
My rule is, do what you always do.
If you start deviating from how you normally play, than you start second guessing yourself and it feels like it messes with the deck.
I'm sure there will be many people who respond who will say that it doesn't really matter how you play or how others around you play, but to me it does matter.
You're right, it's the hard 12 against the upcard 3, I don't tend to hit.
The players that don't hit the 16 against anything just annoy me and I tend to find a table to play by myself.
I'm going back to AC on March 26th I make it about once a month and will try hitting the 13 against the 12.
It took me long enough to start hitting the 12 against the 2 so we'll see how it works.
Thanks all for your replies.
Player hard 13 through 16, stand on dealer 2 through 6.
Player A-7, double on dealer 3 through 6, stand on 2, 7, 8, hit on 9, 10 atlantic city blackjack strategy />Player 9-9, split on dealer 2 through 6, 8 and atlantic city blackjack strategy, stand on 7, 10, A.
Player 12, stand on dealer 4, 5, 6, otherwise hit.
That's the basic strategy I follow and yes, I do follow it, every hand.
And yes, the folks who stand on 16 against anything are annoying.
I'm not sure what they hope to accomplish by standing on 16 against a 10.
I generally try to follow the basic strategy to maximize my odds; however I just don't get splitting 8's against a dealer 9 or 10.
Why would I want two 18's?
I feel I am better off just taking my lumps and hitting the 16.
I know other players at the table don't always agree, but am I really ruining it for everyone this way?
LuvBreezes Luv, I agree with you about not wanting to split 8's against a 9 or 10.
I atlantic city blackjack strategy the reasoning, though, is 16 is the worst hand you can more info />And by splitting the 8's it's a defensive move.
I still hate to do it though.
I used to always play "by the book" and split everytime.
Now I don't always split them against a 9 or 10 because it seems like I lost double 99% of the time when I split them.
The best play, imo, would be surrender the hand.
But, unfortunately, they did away with surrender.
The other hand that I sometimes go against the book with is a 16 against a 7.
https://cetsolarstore.com/blackjack/blackjack-newspaper.html on the flow of the cards, I sometimes stay with a 16 against a 7, especially if its atlantic city blackjack strategy 16 with 3 or more cards.
I find that the 7 is often a bust card for the dealer.
Why would I want two 18's?
Just because the dealer has a 9 or 10 up doesn't mean he has a winning hand.
The hole card could be a 2 through 6 and lead to a dealer bust.
There is no guarantee that you will get 18, you could get 11 and end up with a 21.
Remember it is all about probability.
I agree with what you are saying, but I was taught to play atlantic city blackjack strategy the dealer always has a ten in the hole.
If the best I can hope for are two 18's, I would rather hit and bust on 16 than lose double by splitting.
Of course I could also get lucky and pull a 3, 4 or 5.
I think the odds of that happening are just as good as the dealer having a bust card in the hole.
Following the basic strategy of BJ makes sense to me; just not splitting 8's against everything.
